Important GDPR point - by signing up here, you also consent to us sending you emails and blogs from The Sustainable Investor blog platform
Back in early Jan 2023 we said “we are leaving Substack, moving to our own dedicated blog platform (screen grab above), also called rather unimaginably The Sustainable Investor.”
Since then we did a rethink. What’s that famous quote attributed to the economist John Maynard Keynes."When the facts change, I change my mind. What do you do, sir?" Why, the rethink. Because despite the fact that we have stopped publishing on substack, people keep signing up. Best guess is that the topic resonates, people want to understand better how sustainability can best mesh with the world of finance, and vice versa.
What happens next. So, a change in plan. While we will not be publishing on substack, if you sign up we will give you access to our new The Sustainable Investor platform, so 4-5 medium Perspective blogs, that highlight important news flow, events, reports and analysis plus the all important, what does it mean ! Every Friday you will get “what you might have missed” and then over the weekend, our long blog, something to read over brunch. Our long blogs dig deeper into a sustainable investing topic. It could be human rights, or transitions, or something on one of our big themes (agriculture, electrification, industry, transport, the built environment and health).
The Perspectives will keep you informed, and the Long Blogs will help you attack the challenges in a different way, cutting though the noise and complexity to give you a clear and concise narrative.
While the Perspectives are free, to read the Long Blogs in full you will need to subscribe, but don’t worry, the cost is less than £1 per day.
Why should you sign up ? The new platform is not only better for publishing, it also gives you a better service, helping for instance you find all the blogs on a certain theme.
